Dr. Rice Broocks

Dr. Rice Broocks is a bestselling author of several books including the book “God’s Not Dead” that has been translated into 14 languages. He has spoken at universities in over 40 nations. He is the co-founder of a ministry called Every Nation that operates in 80 nations currently. His doctoral degree is from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA in the field of missiology which focuses on the intersection of the Christian faith and the wide variety of global cultures and beliefs. Dr. Broocks works closely with a team of scientists, philosophers, and historians, that facilitate interdisciplinary dialogue between faith and science. 

Addison Tweedy, M.A.

Addison Tweedy is an international speaker, apologist, and former comedian. He currently serves as the director of God’s Not Dead Events and works closely with Dr. Rice Broocks. He has spoken nationally and internationally to tens of thousands of students on high school and college campuses weaving humor into inspirational messages that entertain and educate. He has been a featured guest on several radio programs and podcasts to discuss his work with young people and to perform live comedy. He has also performed during concerts, rallies, conferences and major conventions across the U.S. 
Addison attended Florida State University and earned a B.S. in business, with an emphasis in hospitality administration. He also earned an M.A. in apologetics from Liberty University. Addison served eight years in the United States Navy Reserve during which time he received the National Defense service medal, a Flag Officer Letter of Commendation and the Meritorious Service Ribbon. He currently resides in Nashville, Tennessee with his wife and their four kids.

Dr. Michael Guillen

A three-time Emmy Award winner, bestselling author, and former Harvard University instructor, Dr. Michael Guillen is known and loved by millions as the ABC News Science Editor, a post he filled for fourteen years (1988–2002). Dr. Guillen earned a B.S. from UCLA and Ph.D. in physics, mathematics, and astronomy from Cornell University. He has honorary doctorates from the University of Maryland and Pepperdine University. In 2000 he was elected to the renowned, century – old Explorers Club. He is a member of SAG – A FTRA and Writers Guild of America. Dr. Eric Hedin

 Dr. Eric Hedin holds a Ph.D. in physics from the University of Washington and has taught physics and astronomy at Taylor University and Ball State University (BSU) in Indiana and Biola University in California. His Ball State University course, The Boundaries of Science, attracted national media attention. Dr. Hedin’s recent book, Canceled Science: What Some Atheists Don’t Want You to See, highlights scientific evidence pointing to design.

Dr. Brian Miller

Dr. Brian Miller is a Research Coordinator for the Center for Science and Culture at the Discovery Institute. He holds a B.S. in physics with a minor in engineering from MIT and a Ph.D. in complex systems physics from Duke University. He speaks internationally on the evidence for design in nature. He is recognized as a world expert on how principles of thermodynamics require preexistent information in the origin of life. His current research focus is on the interrelationship between engineering and biology. He is also a technical consultant for THESTARTUP.com, a virtual incubator dedicated to bringing innovation to the marketplace. And, he provided research support for the books God’s Not Dead and Man, Myth, Messiah authored by Dr. Rice Broocks.

Dr. Igor Sobkowicz

Dr. Igor P. Sobkowicz graduated from Ecole Polytechnique Paris with a Ph.D. in Physics and from the University of Edinburgh with an M.Sc. in Science and Religion. During his years of scientific research, he sought to understand and improve semiconductor materials for solar cell applications, which led him to publish several scientific papers and a patent. His passion for the intersection between faith and science later led him to the University of Edinburgh where he studied under the tutelage of Rev. Dr. Mark Harris. He discovered there a passion for the history and philosophy of science, which led him to specialize in the Darwinian theory of evolution and to examine its merits from a philosophical, scientific, and religious perspective. Today, he works as an electrical engineer for the development of large-scale photovoltaic systems throughout North America, while traveling to US college campuses to interact with students and to challenge the influence of methodological naturalism in today’s academia.

Dr. Ming Wang

Dr. Ming Wang, Harvard and MIT (MD, magna cum laude); PhD (laser physics), is a world-renowned eye surgeon, philanthropist, and co-founder of the Tennessee Immigrant and Minority Business Group. He grew up during China’s Cultural Revolution during which millions of youth were deported to remote areas to face a life sentence of poverty and hard labor. In 1982, he made his way to the U.S. with only $50, a Chinese-English dictionary, but with a big American dream in his heart. Dr. Wang has published 10 textbooks and over 100 articles, including one in the world-renowned journal “Nature,” holds several U.S. patents, including the world’s first amniotic membrane contact lens. He received numerous awards including the Honor Award from the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Association of Chinese American Physicians, the Kiwanis Nashvillian of the Year Award, NPR’s Philanthropist of the Year Award, and an honorary doctorate degree from Trevecca Nazarene University. Dr. Wang founded the Wang Foundation for Sight Restoration which to date has helped patients from over 40 states in the U.S. and from over 55 countries, with all sight restoration surgeries performed free-of-charge. Dr. Wang’s autobiography “From Darkness to Sight” has inspired the film “Sight”.
